Privacy Policy

We built ShopTV as a free app, available on iOS and Android. This page explains what information ShopTV collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

Information collection and use

Most of what ShopTV shows you — streams, categories, product listings, pricing — is fetched and displayed without any personal information leaving your device. ShopTV does not require an account to browse.

Two features do involve storing a small amount of data tied to your device:

• Following creators is stored locally on your device to power the Home Screen widget and Live Activity, and is not sent to us.
• The referral program uses an anonymous Firebase Authentication identity (no name, email, or phone number required) to track invite progress in Firestore, Google's cloud database. This identity is not linked to your real identity unless you separately email us to claim a reward.

Third-party services

ShopTV uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google Play Services (Android)
• Firebase — Remote Config, Authentication, Firestore, and Crashlytics
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Keepa — supplies live product pricing shown on stream product lists

Log data

If the app encounters an error, diagnostic information is collected through Firebase Crashlytics — things like device model, OS version, app version, and the circumstances of the crash. This is used only to fix bugs.

Cookies

ShopTV itself does not use cookies. Some third-party services listed above may use similar identifiers to provide their functionality.

Children's privacy

ShopTV does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
